Every Artist, Album, Song, and Person on the soundcrank website has a unique ID (identifier) that makes it easy to link back to and find. Many tools on soundcrank's website including the My Lists's tool allow you to enter a soundcrank ID for the search term to find an exact match instead of having to type in the name of the artist, album, song, etc. manually.
The soundcrank ID can be found in the URL for any item you are looking at. For example, if you were on the song page for the song "Pinball Wizard" by "The Who", then the URL for this page would like this:

The soundcrank ID for this song would be "1175640".
